Happy October, hard to believe it is almost Halloween already. Today I am sharing a Sizzix DIY Halloween treat box perfect for party favors, my son will be taking these to his class party and he is just so excited to hand them out.
Making this box was so easy with the help of my Sizzix Big Shot. It easily fit a a pack of fruit gummies, a pencil, and a cute little bat ring.
For this project, you will need the Sizzix Big Shot, cardstock paper, ribbon, hot glue gun, 3D foam stickers and the following dies:
- Sizzix Movers and Shapers Box, Long
- Sizzix Texture Fades Embossing Folders 2PK – Halloween Night & Poison Set
- Sizzix Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die – Halloween Shadows
First, you will cut out 2 pieces using the Sizzix Movers and Shapers box. Next you will put one at a time in the embossing folder with all the tabs folded in, pass that through the Big Shot once.
Then you will glue your 2 embossed pieces together to form your box. I also cut out a Trick or Treat saying with the Halloween Shadows Strip die, added some 3D foam stickers to it to give some dimension and finally top it off with a neon green bow.
Look at the awesome texture that the embossing folders give it, seriously my favorite part!
Fill it up with your goodies and your party favors are done!
I just love Halloween we still have our annual Halloween party to do plus some to attend. Do you have a Halloween party you’re hosting or parties that you plan to attend?
