On Sunday we celebrated my youngest son’s 2nd birthday with just a couple of close friends and family nothing too extravagant. A couple of months ago when we were discussing if we would do him a party or take him somewhere to celebrate and decided if we had a party it would be a barnyard theme so I was thrilled when I found out I had won a whole printable collection from Piggy Bank Parties which just happened to be a barnyard theme. When I found out I won it was certain that we would celebrate at home with a barnyard birthday party so I could use these amazing printables. To get the printables go HERE.

I found these cute animal crackers that came in an even more adorable barn box. I used them as part of the decoration plus our guest enjoyed the yummy crackers. I also added some “farm fresh” veggies for a healthy snack. It is always good to have some healthy options on the snack table. If you set them out the kids are very likely to grab them and eat them up.

I also added some fruit to the table by sticking it on some skewers and placing them inside an egg carton that was washed. I used my sons barnyard toys as decoration around the homemade cupcakes. I also had homemade rice krispy treats and I labeled them as hay bales.  The centerpieces was a pinwheel made from the party pack patterned paper which was them placed inside a jar with crinkle paper. I tied a little sign around the top of the jar and as a bonus touch I added that cute 3D barn. The party favor bags were brown lunch bags and for added decoration to help them fit the theme I added a barn cutout (done with my Cricut) and a thank you tag from the printable pack glue to a clothespin.  My little guy had a blast at his barnyard birthday he loved the decorations, food, and all the fun that comes with a party.
