Football is HUGE at my house my husband loves watching the games and he has passed his love of football to my two sons. All three sit on the couch together and watch the games together, it warms my heart every time I see them bonding. While they sit and watch the game I am in the kitchen cooking or baking something for them to enjoy during the game.

This past weekend I headed to my local Sam’s Club to get ready for the big game. I came across packs of Coca Cola and knew I had to take a pack home with me, I thought how else can I use Coca Cola besides just drinking it and brownies popped into my head. I will share the super easy way to make football brownies with Coca Cola.

You can find the convenient 28 pack of Coca Cola in the soda aisle.IMAG0010 They also have the Diet Coke packs if you prefer that one or you can take both 😉IMAG0011 This brownie recipe only requires 3 ingredients!!! How easy right?Football Brownies with Coca Cola 12 Ingredients:

  • Box of brownie mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1 can of Coca Cola (I used 3/4 of the can)

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Pour the brownie mix into a mixing bowlFootball Brownies with Coca Cola 1 Next add 3/4 of the soda to the brownie mix and the 1 egg. Mix it all together until there are no lumps. Pour your batter into you cake pan and bake for 23 minutes or until your toothpick comes out clean.Football Brownies with Coca Cola 2Once baked let them completely cool down. When they are cooled take a football shaped cookie cutter and begin cutting out your footballs. To add the laces I used vanilla icing and a decorating tip but you can use a sandwich bag just cut off a tiny piece of the corner.
