Halloween Tablescape

Halloween is almost here and I’m thrilled to share this festive Halloween tablescape. Designed with kids in mind with fun details like juice boxes this setup is colorful, spooky, and full of charm. A quick swap of the drinks and this Halloween tablescape can easily be transformed into a stylish setting for an adult Halloween party.

I absolutely love creating a tablescape it is my favorite part of a party, so creating this Halloween tablescape was just so much fun. I began by choosing my plates from Create UR Plate (2025 update: this company unfortunately closed). Create UR Plate had these fun plate designs that I was able to use on my Halloween tablescape. This tablescape was created for a kids party which is why I added the juice box. I added a ghost paper straw to add more Halloween details. If you want to use this table for an adult Halloween party simply swap out the drink for a wine glass.

My juice box coasters are foam glittered spiderwebs that I found on one of my trips to Joann. I couldn’t find the exact coasters but I found similar ones.

My centerpiece was a potion filled cauldron, I mean a cupcake filled cauldron. When the guests finish eating their food they can easily reach for a cupcake for dessert.

I also set mini cauldrons at each place setting and filled them up with some yummy green apple cotton candy.

Since the table was a kids tablescape I just ended up using plastic cutlery in the color gray.

When planning my tablescape I knew I was going to use a black table cover so I wanted everything placed on it to pop. When I saw this polka dot fabric at Joann’s I knew they would make the perfect fabric napkins.

Do you enjoy setting a Halloween tablescape at your Halloween party?

  1. Our Halloween party table is usually too loaded down with food to worry too much about tablescaping, though I do try to use a nice combination of seasonal platters and table clothes. I really like the cotton candy cauldrons you used here–a nice treat and pretty, too!
