I am so excited to be a part of this years Popcorn Box Blog Party hosted by Laura Kelly. Myself and 59 other bloggers have created some fun and fabulous popcorn boxes plus there is an AMAZING giveaway for you to enter at the end of the post.
With Halloween coming up I decided to do a pumpkin popcorn box, this box will fit perfect into your Halloween party and the guests will love eating their popcorn out of it.
The popcorn box that we used is from World Market, these boxes are just so cute on their own already but we did have to do some changes to fit the Halloween theme. Ok let’s get started
Supplies:
- Popcorn Box
- Twine
- Black card stock paper
- Orange card stock paper
- Green card stock paper
- Yellow card stock paper
- Sizzix Big Shot Machine
- Pumpkins with Crow and Leaves Die
- Hot glue gun
Next, trace the side of the box 4 times onto black card stock. Cut and paste the paper to the box.
Then I cut a small piece of twine and pulled the threads apart, I repeated this step a couple of times until I got the amount of “hay” that I wanted to add to the box.
I hot glued the “hay” to the box and trimmed off any that came out to the side.
Next, I placed my orange, green, and black card stock paper onto the die.
I made a sandwich by placing a cutting pad, die, card stock, and another cutting pad. Then I passed it all through my Big Shot.
I glued all my pieces together and glued the final product to the popcorn box.
Next I cut out a circle shape from yellow card stock for my moon and glued that onto to the box as well.
Here you have it a Pumpkin Popcorn Box perfect to hold all that yummy popcorn at your next Halloween party.
