Woohoo, the June gloom is gone and it is now sunny and we are ready for all the Summer parties. First up a 4th of July party. Today I will share some super easy ideas that you can recreate for your own patriotic celebration.

Most of the ideas I am sharing in this 4th of July party can be done the day before. I actually strongly recommend that you start the day before because some of the products that our friends over at Oriental Trading sent us require minor assembly. You don’t want to be scrambling the day of the party putting things together and setting up. That way the only thing that you will need to add the day of is the desserts and snacks. 
For this 4th of July party I included some activities to keep the kids busy, the first activity is a bottle ring toss game. The kids will have so much fun tossing the rings and trying to land it on their particular colored bottle.
I placed some patriotic paper fans next to the bottle toss game to add a bit of flare.
Another activity was these mini activity books that I placed inside mini red tin pails. These served a dual purpose, an activity that the kids can do while waiting for the food or firework show to begin and they also served as a party favor. The mini pails were actually placed on top of patriotic food trays that I just put upside down.
Yummy popcorn is a must to enjoy during the fireworks show. Dress them up in these snack paper bowls.
My cupcakes were decorated with flag picks to carry out the patriotic theme. I added two flags to each cupcake since the flags were pretty small.
I displayed photo props to encourage my guests to get up, grab a prop, and take pictures with each other. This creates a lot of picture memories that everyone can share.
My tablescape was simple but patriotic. All I included was a plate, cup, and a paper flag that can be colored.
The cup was accompanied by a blue and white star paper straw.
