At my son’s school this is the first year that they aren’t allowed to take candy to their class Halloween parties so I had to come up with a non candy Halloween party favor. It wasn’t hard to come up with something with the variety of items that Oriental Trading carries.

When I found out my boys couldn’t take candy to school anymore I headed over to the Oriental Trading website to look at all the fun little Halloween glow toys that they offer and I found things that my boys really liked. I also checked out the candy section just in case there was something that I could use and there was. I found these mini bags of pretzels that they are allowed to take.
When I received my order I immediately wanted to put the party favors together especially since I have to do party favors for two classes the earlier I begin the better. I started by getting everything out of its packaging and making an assembly line to make it easy to put together. Here are the items I ordered minus the paper shreds those I already had in my craft stash. After creating my assembly line I began putting the first non candy Halloween party favor together. The first thing was to add the paper shreds to the cup to give it some height. Then I placed the mini bag of pretzels towards the back and that serves as a support to the other items that I added. Next I added the glow items: vampire fangs, one mini button, one temporary tattoo, and a sticker. That’s all there is to it. You can place the entire thing inside a clear cello bag tied off with halloween ribbon so the items don’t fall out and it will be easier to pass out during the Halloween class party. My boys love that almost all the items were glow in the dark. Look how awesome the Halloween party favor looks in the dark.
