I am so excited to be a part of the holiday edition of Craft Lightning, I participated in a previous Craft Lightning where I created a bat napkin ring. For this edition I am bringing you another tablescape element but this time for your Christmas dinner table. I created a DIY Christmas wreath place card, it took me less than 15 minutes to create 4 of these place cards. Place cards are a great way to set up your holiday party seating. You know your guests personalities and know that seating someone to next to a certain person can help your dinner party stay alive. But let’s not keep you waiting any longer and let’s start the easy tutorial for the diy Christmas wreath place cards.
The supplies that you will need are (not everything is pictured):
- Mini grapevine wreaths
- Berry Bouquet (I used fake but you can use real ones if you choose)
- Wire cutters (if you use fake ones)
- Hot glue gun
- Paper and pen
The first step is to cut off the berries along with their individual stem.
Next you will cut a strip of white paper and write your guest name on it. I decided to do it handwritten to add a personal touch but if you want you can also type their names and print them out.
The final step is to add a tiny bit of hot glue to the paper and the berries to glue them down in their place.
That’s all there is to it! Super easy right but it adds such a beautiful touch to your Christmas dinner table. I hope this inspires you to create your own diy Christmas wreath place card.
So simple and so pretty! Thanks for joining!
