Well today is the last day in our Christmas series and on the twelfth day of Christmas I show you how to make a snowman ornament. This ornament is so quick to make and it makes a great activity for a Christmas party where guest can take it home as a party favor.
Revised to be a part of Team Creative Crafts Snowman themed blog hop. Check out the amazing snowman themed post below from other bloggers.
Let’s get started with the supplies you will be needing:
- Clear ornament
- Scissors
- White shreds of paper
- Black felt
- Black and orange markers
- Faux holly berries (not shown)
- Hot glue gun
The first thing you will need to do is fill the ornament with the paper shreds. I added the paper a little bit at a time to make sure that it wouldn’t get clogged at the top. I also used a pencil to help push the paper in to make sure I fit in a good amount.
Next I closed the ornament and cut out a mini top hat out of the black felt. I hot glued the felt top hat to the top of the ornament. Once that was glued down I glued the faux holly berries to the front of the hat.
After that I used my black and orange markers to draw on the face and then I was done with my snowman ornament. I love how this snowman ornament turned out, it’s just too cute. The major plus side is how quick it is to make, everyone will enjoy making it even the not so patient crafters.
Thank you so much for joining me in my 12 Days of Christmas series, I loved putting these ideas together. Can’t wait to bring this series again to you all in 2018. Merry Christmas!!
