How to Make a Snowman Ornament -

The holidays are just around the corner and what better way to get into the spirit than with a fun DIY craft that’s perfect for gifting or decorating your tree? In this post I’m excited to show you how to make a charming snowman ornament. We will use simple supplies you probably already have on hand. Whether you’re crafting solo with hot cocoa in hand or having a cozy little craft party with kids or friends this easy project is sure to bring a bit of winter magic into your home.

First, let’s get started with the snowman ornament supplies you will be needing:

To begin with, the first thing you will need to do is fill the ornament with the paper shreds. I added the paper a little at a time to make sure that it wouldn’t get clogged at the top. I also used a pencil to help push the paper in to make sure I fit in a good amount.

Next, close the ornament and cut out a mini felt top hat. I then hot glued the felt top hat to the top of the ornament.

Once that was glued down, I then glued the faux holly berries to the front of the hat.

Finally, I used my black and orange markers and then I was done with my snowman ornament. Honestly, I love how this snowman ornament turned out, it’s just too cute. Additionally, it’s quick to make, so even impatient crafters will enjoy creating it.
