I know we were just talking about the New Year but it is now time to move onto Valentine’s Day. Today I am showing you how to make this color your own Valentine card.
Disclosure: I am part of the Cricut Blogger Program and I receive products/compensation in exchange for craft ideas. But all opinions are 100% my own.I used my Cricut Explore Air 2 to make these cards. With the Cricut Explore Air 2 writing function they were so easy to make. For this project you will need:
- Cricut Explore Air 2
- Cricut Black Pen 0.4
- White Card Stock Paper
I started by launching my Cricut Design Space and created a 3×4 inch rectangle. After that I inserted my Happy Valentine’s Day text, changed the option from cut to write, and selected the pen I was going to use. Next center the text and size it to fit in your card. The next thing I did was search for Valentine images. I chose hearts, an xoxo, and a heart balloon. After choosing my images I deleted any top layers and just left the silhouette of the image. After that I changed each image from cut to write. I also made sure to choose the 0.4 black pen from the menu selection.
The last design step is to arrange all the images on the card and attach them all together. Once that is done you can duplicate the whole card with the images as many times as you want. I was able to fit 6 on a 8.5×11 inch card stock paper.
Next just click make it, insert your pen into the clamp A location, and let your machine do the rest.
I love how these color your own Valentine cards turned out, I am sure they will be a hit with the kids at my son’s school. I hope this easy tutorial was helpful.
