Hello again, earlier I shared a galentine’s lunch tablescape that had these mini rose favor boxes on it. Each mini rose favor box contained one of my favorite candies, chocolate. I thought I would share how easy it was to dress up the mini favor box with two simple paper roses.
Disclaimer: Oriental Trading sent me product for review but all opinions are 100% my own.
I only needed to make 4 of the favor boxes so it took me less than 10 minutes to decorate them. Here are the supplies I used:
- Sizzix Big Shot
- Flowers 3D die
- Red card stock
- Mini violet gift boxes
- Glue gun
- Pencil
The first thing I did was trim my red card stock to fit perfectly on top of the flowers 3D die.Next I made the Sizzix sandwich (cutting pad, paper, die, cutting pad) and passed it through my Big Shot machine. I placed 4 sheets of paper in my Sizzix sandwich and it cut all of them with no problem at all.
This is how the die will cut them out, the die has a small flower and a slightly bigger one.
Next I took my pencil and began rolling the paper cutout around it. Once it’s all rolled up you just hot glue the flower to the end tab. I have a video here that shows you how easy it is do them.
This is how the flowers look when they are completed. After they are done you just need to glue them onto the box.
Don’t forget to check out my galentine’s lunch tablescape so you can see these little cuties with the rest of the table setting.
