With Summer vacation right around the corner for my son’s I know I have to get creative with the ways to encourage them to keep reading during vacation. If it was up to them it would be all fun and games only. I created a FREE reading log printable to keep a track of their reading.
Now don’t get me wrong my boys do enjoy reading but they honestly prefer going outside and kicking the soccer ball around. With this reading log printable I can track the time that they spend reading. I am thinking that when they get to a certain amount of time I will give them a small reward. I know that will encourage them to pick up their books more often.
If you would like to keep track of your kids reading this Summer you too can print out this sheet.
