During this quarantine I have been doing some decluttering. One of the areas I decluttered was my closet and I had some old jeans that I knew would be perfect for some recycled crafts. Today I am sharing just how easy it is to make recycled jean roses to use as decorations on many things. For this craft I used my recycled jean roses to customize a little notebook. Here are some of the supplies I used:
- Old pair of jeans
- Sizzix Big Shot
- Flowers 3D die
- Laura Kelly Badges die
- Cardstock
- Hot glue
- Paper glue
- Blank notebook
My first step was to cut out my images and put them together. Below is a video where I share how to put the roses together.
Next, I hot glued the recycled jean roses to the bottom corner of the notebook.
Then I hot glued the badge to the top corner of the notebook. This badge is a perfect place to put a name or anything else you would like write.
You can also use both of these dies to make tags like this one I made.
These jean roses are really a simple craft but they add such an adorable detail to a plain notebook or tag. I hope this has inspired you to recycle some of those old jeans into some crafts of your own.
