I ended up making my own paper pockets out of scrapbook paper but you can buy some pre-made little bags and just embellish those to make this even more easy. But, let me show you how I made mine with these common supplies that I am sure you have in your craft stash.

  • Scrapbook paper
  • Glue
  • Bakers twine
  • Washi tape
  • Circle punch
  • Scissors
  • Halloween embellishments

The first thing I did was cut my paper down to 4 inches by 8 inches. I then proceeded to fold it in half and glued the sides together leaving the top open.

Next, I used my circle punch to cut out a half circle to the top of the Halloween candy pocket. This step is optional and was just done to add a little more detail. Also, it was a bit difficult to cut through the double scrapbook paper layers so this is also something to take into consideration.

This is how they will look after you cut out the half circle. Now it is time to embellish however you desire.

I just love how they turned out!!! The scrapbook paper I used each had different textures on it which I thought was pretty cool.
