Easter is this upcoming weekend, which means we still have a couple of days to knock out some Easter projects. Today I am going to show you how to make an Easter egg pouch. This is a great last minute project because I made about 8 of these in 15 minutes if not less.

The supplies I used for the Easter egg pouch areĀ (some of the items linked are items I found closest to what I used):
I started by cutting out my Easter egg template and pinning it to some pieces of felt.
I then cut out the Easter eggs from the Kunin felt.
Next, I cut one of the pieces in half to help form the pouch part. I then pinned both pieces so I could sew them together.
Here is how it turned out once I sewed it. Also, if you don’t have a sewing machine you can easily use felt glue to combine the 2 pieces together.
And, that’s it. I told you it would be easy lol. I did end up cutting felt scraps into pieces and hot gluing them to the Easter egg pouch to add some detail.
I think they turned out so cute! These are some ideas as to what you can add to the Easter egg pouch:
- Fun size candy like I did
- Gift cards
- Small bottle of hand sanitizer
- Mini lip gloss
I hope this craft inspires you to create your own Easter egg pouches. Happy crafting!!
