Hello! Today I am bringing you another fun craft as part of the Team Creative Crafts blog hop. The theme this month is rainbows and I am sharing a bright and fun color the world free printable. I am going to show you 3 different ways that you can use the printable to spread some happiness in the world. Besides showing you how to put together little gifts with the color the world free printable as the tag I am going to show you how to make a super easy mini tote bag.

Let’s start off by making the mini tote bag first then we will move on to two more gift ideas.

How to make a mini tote bag: (some of the items linked are items I found closest to what I used):

Start by cutting 2 pieces of Fairfield World Oly*Fun into 5×6 (5 height and 6 wide) inch pieces. Then cut 2 pieces of rainbow ribbon, each 8 inches long. Next pin the 2 pieces of Oly*Fun and sew the sides as well as the bottom with a 1/4 inch seam. When you finish sewing, cut off the bottom corners diagonally. This helps eliminate too much bunching in the corners when turned inside out.
Next, turn the bag inside out and sew the ribbon inside the top opening to make them into handles. Also since Oly*Fun doesn’t fray you don’t need to hem the top. This means that you are done with your tote bag. Now you just need to add the color the world tag, fill up your gift, and give it to a friend, family member, or even a stranger.  If you don’t want to make a mini tote bag for your tag then here are 2 more ways you can make little gifts that can accompany your color the world free printable.  For the actual gift I used a small notebook, crayons, and a kindness sticker.

1. Stack your gift items and tie them off with rainbow ribbon and the color the world tag. 2. Place your gift inside a clear cello bag. Then use washi to tape the color the world tag to the front.

I hope these ideas for the color the world free printable inspire you to make your own to give out. Happy crafting and remember to be kind.
