5 Reasons I Use Cricut Vinyl for Crafting:

  1. Let’s start with the fact that I can easily find it at any of my local crafts stores, Target, Amazon, or the Cricut website.
  2. Smooth cutting, with the easy Cricut settings in Cricut Design Space you can simply choose the setting corresponding to the certain type of vinyl. The presets will be just right for it and the cutting will be smooth.

3. Easy to work with. The vinyls are easy to weed and apply.

4. Once the vinyl is applied it is durable. All the projects I have done have lasted. The iron on vinyl is still on my shirts and sweatshirts. The adhesive vinyl is still on my cups after carefully handwriting them. 5. Last but not least and probably my favorite reason for using Cricut vinyl is the variety. There are so many but to name a few there is adhesive (removable, permanent, foil, chalkboard, dry erase). Then there is iron-on in many textures (everyday, glitter, holographic, sportflex). There is also Smart vinyl this material can currently only be used with the Maker 3 and Explore 3 and it does not require the use of a cutting mat. Here I used regular adhesive vinyl, chalkboard vinyl, and writable vinyl to make labels. In this project I used iron on vinyl to make this Harry Potter party favor bag. I used red glitter iron on to decorate a Christmas pillowcase. Regular adhesive vinyl was used to decorate a glass makeup brush holder. The little eyelash detail was so cut so nice a clean.I used foil iron on to make a faux leather bookmark. And in this final example project I used both chalkboard adhesive and everyday iron-on to make a countdown christmas countdown sign

As you can see many different type of craft projects can be achieved with the Cricut vinyl.
