Harry Potter Coffee Sign Supplies:

supplies The first thing I did was “stain” my wood blocks. I achieved this look by mixing acrylic paint and water then painting that on with a foam brush. Then I rubbed off any excess with a dry paper towel.  paint wood blocks While my wood blocks were drying I cut out my design that I created in Cricut Design Space. After I cut it out using my Cricut Explore 3 I used my weeding tool to take off any vinyl I did not need.weed out vinyl Next, I used heat resistant tape to tape down my design onto my canvas panel. I did this so the design wouldn’t move out of place when using the heat press.use heat resistant tape to tape design to canvas Then I used my Cricut EasyPress Mini to iron on my design to the canvas panel. I did this on the medium setting. I moved my EasyPress Mini around for about 30 seconds. iron on design to canvas panel After the iron on film cooled down I peeled it off.remove iron on film By this time my wood pieces were pretty much dry and I began to hot glue them around the canvas panel to create a frame.  glue wood blocks to canvas panel That’s all there is to this Harry Potter coffee sign. It was super easy to make and makes a great addition to the coffee bar I have in my craft area.Harry Potter Coffee SignRemember that this post is in collaboration with Team Creative Crafts and other bloggers.
